Saudi boys in daredevil 'face death' stunt

On a motorway just outside the Saudi capital Riyadh, two local boys rushed to the middle of the road and lay still. Just before they are run over by a speeding truck, they suddenly jumped up and ran out of the road.

The scene was not a screenplay in a movie. Those who shot the film said it was real and the boys were doing such crazy stunts for fun and showing off.

The film, carried by Ajel newspaper, showed the boys kept doing such breath-taking daredevil acts on the motorway without showing any fear. They were even showed laughing and jumping happily as if to say: “We are brave. We conquered death.”

Ajel said in its report:”These boys are not brave but crazy and reckless. What if the truck driver is caught off guard by these boys lying on the road and loses control of the vehicle. This could cause a disaster.”
