Saudi child drowns in bucket of water

A 14-month-old Saudi girl died after falling in a bucket filled with water at her house in the kingdom, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The girl was playing near the bucket when she lost her balance and fell into it while their parents were in another room, Sabq said in a report from the western town of Kharma.

It said her parents who discovered the girl in the bucket later rushed her to hospital but doctors said she was already dead.
