See you in heavens: Missing girl tells family

Classmates said the girl had gathered them and said good bye on the day she vanished

A 16-year-old Saudi girl who vanished three days ago left a letter to her family telling them to be good Muslims and asking them to meet her in heavens.

The girl’s family had announced a prize of SR100,000 (Dh98,000) to anyone who provides information leading to her whereabouts just a few hours after she went missing in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Thursday.

Classmates told the family after the incident that the girl had gathered them and said good bye on the day she vanished.

“There are new developments in the case of the missing girl,” the Arabic language daily Sabq said, quoting the girl’s uncle.

“Her family said they have just found a letter written by her telling them to keep praying…the letter also said’ see you in heavens.”
