UFO? White ball over Dome of Rock

Pulsating orb descends swiftly and hovers before shooting up into the night sky at unbelievable speed

A shining ball of light has been filmed hovering above the Dome of the Rock, in footage which UFO enthusiasts say could finally prove aliens exist.

The clips show the pulsating orb descend and hover above the Dome of the Rock, before shooting up into the night sky. It then descends again and disappears. Unusually, the sighting has been filmed from different viewpoints, meaning it has been more difficult to dismiss than most, the Daily Mail reported.

The footage was taken in Jerusalem at 1am on Saturday morning and has spread like wildfire on the internet.
It has been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people and prompted fierce debate among UFO enthusiasts and sceptics.

Former Ministry of Defence UFO investigator Nick Pope told The Sun: "If these are real, they are some of the most incredible videos ever shot.

"If they are not, then this is a very well-planned and co-ordinated hoax designed to eliminate elements of doubt."

He said the way the object shoots up suggests it is unmanned: 'We know the Israeli army has some very high-tech drones at its disposal.

"If this is one, it is one of the most advanced pieces of technology created by man.

Maybe its not a ufo, or a man made machine. Maybe its that which was fortold. Maybe its Prophecy unfolding before our very eyes.

    Guys, it's just a hoax. Sorry :)

One of the four videos I've seen is clearly a fake, but the others are quite compelling. The one where a person in the foreground is also filming the object and can be seen on his phone screen. That's pretty interesting.

See the bright flashes of light right before the object shoots up into the air? That light didn't come from the object itself but from light sources in the area in the vicinity of the Dome. Considering no less than 4 'independent' film images were captured, one would have to wonder why they all just happened to be filming the same thing in the middle of the night. Can one say helium-neon (HeNe) lasers used to make holograms?

UFO... All these years and still shy to face us directly... what did we do to them? hhhhhhaaaa!

Slow descent, hovering stable, amazing speed upwards. UFO? Military technology? Angel?

Finally someone says it. Ricardo says its an angel. Saying 'UFO', 'flying saucer' or the likes are products of the movie and media influences. The knowledge of what this is belongs to the Allah SWT and we must reflect.

    This is clearly an angel...

OMG, nothing can move so fast, and I mean nothing, UFO or not.

@ David. While certainly still in the realm of speculation by everyone, most theorise that a craft capable of disobeying the laws that most hold as immutable, must generate some sort of Inertial Dampening field on the interior of the craft which renders it's interior safe inasmuch as inertial forces are disconnected from the bubble of shifted volume inside rendering such highspeed turns stops and pivots as perfectly harmless upon the occupants (If any). But still absolute conjecture nontheless.

Am I the only one that feels that the speed would be a Gforce that life could not sustain without the cracking and shredding of tissue? Or am I supposed to assume alien life has adapted to that rapid acceleration?

Heba is half right. This is terrestrial, from the earth; and very likely from its core.

O ye non-believers, what more proof of UFOs do you want?
  • Sunny G 5 February 2011 17:20 0 0
Believe it or not, it is a message for mankind.

When I was a boy delivering papers in the evening, I was walking down an alleyway looking up at the sky and saw what I thought was a satellite slowly moving across the sky. It stopped! then rapidly darted, zig zagging in multiple directions then ripped across the sky in less than a second...that to me was an UFO.

Funny thing though, people have almost similar sightings from decades ago (or maybe centuries) until almost recently, from saucer-like flying objects to flashing lights to high-speed escapes. Just a thought, they haven't improve much on their technology, have they?
  • Dennis 5 February 2011 15:02 0 0
I'm fortunate enough that I've experienced it myself somewhere in my younger years. So I don't have to doubt that we're not alone. And that's one more proof to it. What'll other people say, I simply don't care.

Watch the History channel's 'ancient aliens'... proof positive. What does it take to make non-believers believe? No chance, they simply will not investigate or even entertain the possibility.

Yeah, it's funny how the media shows only this video and claims it's a fake when this is the only one with Americans speaking and the only one where there is no flash and there is no reflection off of the dome. In the other three videos from different cameras it shows everything and the people are speaking Hebrew so its more legit especially the one where there are 2 guys with cameras up in the hills and you can see both videos side by side. Proof 100% real.
