Video: Saudi soldier fights with civil servant

A Saudi soldier had a fight with an employee at a government telecommunication company, a film that immediately triggered public criticism.

The film, published in ‘Sada’ newspaper, showed the soldier in military uniform and the civil servant, wearing traditional clothes, punched and lunged at each other as other employees and visitors tried to end the scuffle.

The paper did not mention what sparked the brawl but said readers expressed anger at the soldier’s behavior.

“Some said that the soldier should have respected his uniform and refrained from such actions,” the paper said.
