Saudi, Bahrain denounce Mogadishu attack

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia has denounced the attack which targeted a hotel in Mogadishu, killing and injuring many innocent civilians.

The Saudi Press Agency, SPA, reported that a source from the ministry also conveyed the sympathies of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

The source reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's position against terrorist acts and extremism all their forms.


Bahrain condemns terror bombing in Mogadishu

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bahrain has condemned the suicide bomb attack at a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which killed and injured a number of innocent people.

The Bahraini News Agency, BNA, said that the ministry also expressed its condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery from this vicious act that contravenes all religious principles, human values and ethics.

The ministry reiterated Bahrain’s solidarity with Somalia and its support for all the measures it is taking to combat violence, extremism and terrorism in order to enforce security and stability, and the building of state institutions.

It reaffirmed its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms, and called for concerted efforts to eradicate this dangerous threat and root out its causes, added BNA.
