Saudi woman beats maid to death

A Saudi woman beat her housemaid up and kicked her out just after midnight before she was rushed to hospital where she died, a newspaper said Saturday.

The unidentified Saudi woman used a metal object to beat the maid at her home in the central town of Medina before throwing her out.

“The maid was found covered by blood by a passing citizen…she was rushed to hospital but she died upon arrival,” Alwatan Arabic language daily said.

It said police have charged the woman with homicide after doctors determined that she beat the maid to death with a sharp object.
