Sony launches Vaio multi flip laptop in the UAE

Sony has launched its multi flip laptop cum tablet in the UAE ahead of Christmas. For the first time Sony has introduced a Note and Stylus into a fully functional laptop that can just be flipped over to transform it into a Windows Pro tablet.

The device will come in three different sizes starting at 13” to 15” and in various configurations ranging from i3 to i7.

Sony says it is aiming a target market which prefers to carry one single device while travelling. A thin aluminium chassis connects the foldable full HD screen to the backlit keyboard.

Sony says its latest product has one of the best Triluminos display for mobile with high luminescence and a broad colour spectrum similar to what can be seen in Bravia TV.

Sony says its proprietary Inspiration Suite will power the device for a seamless flow of capturing, editing and sharing through a CamScanner that can be used to scan, sync, share content, Clip2 to capture web content or images for presentations and Paper2 to take notes on PC using the stylus.

The 13 inch model weighs just over a kilogram and has a battery life of between 5 to 6 hours.
