Man detained by dad for 6 years

A Moroccan man was detained by his family for almost six years, according to a report in ‘Hespress’.

Acting on a tip-off police raided the home in Sidi Bu Zaid of Al Jadeeda area to find the 30-year-old man lying on the floor without clothes.

Police transferred him to hospital and arrested the man’s father. However, the young man does not want any action taken against his dad, the report added.

The victim claimed that he was ill-treated by his brothers and dad since he could not help them at their farm work.

According to the report, he was not clearly able to recall how many years he was detained as he had no idea of the passing days and months.

However, he told cops that he does not want his father to be taken to court.
