The Sri Lankan community in Oman will be entertained by a popular musical group from the island nation on February 14 at Muscat Holiday Inn hotel.

Nalin & Marians musical band will perform with Corrine Almeida on Valentine's Day in a show which will be open to all nationalities in Oman, according to organisers.

Nishantha Abeywardena, who is part of the Sri Lankan community’s committee, said that a similar one last year was a smashing hit.

“Whatever funds we collect from this year’s show will be set aside for the needy from our community,” he added.

Nalin & Marians are leading Sri Lankan musicians, who have been performing around the world for the last 25 years.

Corrine Almedia, one of the most popular female singer from Colombo, is sure to win hearts in Muscat, believes Rajitha Bandara, another committee member.
