An accident and a car on fire has slowed down Sunday morning traffic on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed (SMBZ) Road.
Motorists are tipped to take alternate routes to avoid long delays.
“An #accident has been reported on SMBZ rd. After MCC bridge toward Jebel Ali, please be extra cautious,” read the tweet from the official Twitter handle of Dubai Police.
A few minutes earlier, another tweet reported more delays on the same road. “A vehicle caught fire on SMZR before vegetable and fruit market toward Abu Dhabi. Please be extra cautious.”
Another road to avoid this morning is D63, with reports of two accidents.
