Video: Saudi risks life to tease snake

A Saudi man who apparently wanted to show off in front of his colleagues at a government department risked his life to tease a poisonous snake, which tried to defend itself many times before it apparently got tired of the game.

A YouTube film carried by the Arabic language daily Sabq showed the man lunged back and forth as the apparently angry snake kept counter-attacking to get him.

The duel went for more than four minutes and towards the end the man was clearly encouraged by snake’s tiredness to come so close that his life was in danger, according to the paper, which said the film was shot in the southern province of Jazan.

“The man demonstrated high skills and capability in dealing with the snake in front of his friends but he risked his life,” it said.
