Tropical Storm Carlos is barely moving over the Pacific Ocean south of Acapulco, Mexico.
As of Friday night, the storm had maximum sustained winds of 60 mph and was centered about 145 miles south of Acapulco. The US National Hurricane Center in Miami said Carlos was moving northeast at 2 mph, and was expected to strengthen into a hurricane by Sunday.
A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect from Acapulco to Punta San Telmo.
