Crazy World: Fish taken out from boy's lungs

INDIA: A pre-teen boy in the Indian city of Indore had swallowed a 9cm long live fish while we was playing with his friends along the riverside.

Swallowing live fish is a common-enough activity among kids who live by the river side, reports The Times of India. However, in this case, the swallowed fish entered the lungs via the wind pipe instead of going down the food pipe.

The 12-year-old boy immediately had breathing difficulty and the level of oxygen went down considerably due to the obstruction in his lungs.

The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors sent him for an X-Ray. The report revealed that one side of the lungs was not visible because of the presence of a foreign object.

In fact, when the doctors were doing bronchoscopy the fish was still alive and breathing inside the boy's lungs.

Doctors did an emergency surgery to fish out the 'foreign object' from the boy's lungs. They claim they haven't come across a similar case in decades.

Girls forced to reveal to prove their innocence

BRITAIN: Parents are furious to learn that school girls were forced by their teachers to pull up their tops and prove that they did not have a mobile phone hidden inside their underwear.

The school management has defended its actions by saying that they were simply ensuring that no child carried a mobile phone to school as the scanner revealed that some were hiding it in strategic places and smuggling them inside the premises, reports Daily Mail. 

Teachers use wand scanners to ensure that the no mobile phone rule is adhered to strictly. However, when the scanner tripped while being used over a group of middle school students, they were taken aside in a separate room and asked to life their tops.

The girls went back home furious and embarrassed and narrated their ordeal to the parents.

While the school authorities are not sure what triggered the scanner to go off, the school principal did apologise in writing over the incident. However, the letter did mention that while the 'screening'  was done, the teachers ensured that no male staff was around and it was done in privacy.

Wife conspires with Facebook lover to kill husband

INDIA: A married woman who fell in love with a man through Facebook hatched a plan to kill her husband. Sukhdeep Kaur, 32, a resident of Haryana in India, got ehr husband killed on May 11, with the help of her lover and his friend.

The woman took her husband to Ludhiana in Punjab on the pretext of taking him to an eye hospital for treatment, reports Asia One. There, the husband was introduced to the lover and his friend.

The woman asked her co-conspirators to take her husband to her village. On the way, the trio stopped for a drink. The victim's drink was laced with drugs. After he fell unconscious, the other two tok him to an isolated area and stabbed him to death.

However, the duo were caught by the police and they spilled the beans and pleaded guilty to the crime.

Woman, 63, caught offering sex services

SINGAPORE: During a raid of budget hotels in Singapore, anti-vice officers were shocked to find a 63-year-old woman actively operating in the flesh trade.

She was among 25 women, including foreigners, nabbed in the raids last week, reports Asia One.

A few male clients and caretakers were also rounded up in the raid.

Naked man caught chewing victim's face

US: A woman dialled 999 when she found two naked men fighting by side of freeway.

When a police officer responded to the call, he reached the actual site and found one of the naked men eating off the face of the other naked man.

Despite warnings from the policeman, the man continued to chew his victim's face. The policeman shot him, according to Miami Herald.

Even after being shot, the man continued eating the flesh. The official fired six more shots and killed him on the spot.

Meanwhile, the victim is fighting for his life at a nearby hospital due to critical injuries received.

Police officers have said that the attacker might have been suffering from cocaine addiction. One of the side effects of the drug is that it raises the body temperature, thus prompting the drug addict to strip.
