News channel kills the wrong Ravi Shankar

Fox News Blooper: Kills Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in their news instead of Sitarist Pandit Ravi Shankar.

Both Fox News as well as MTV News channels committed an unpardonable faux pas where they ‘killed’ the Art of Living founder and teacher, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar instead of Pandit Ravi Shankar, the sitar maestro.

The Fox News channel displayed the Art of Living founder’s photograph in its 10 pm bulletin which was later rectified but the damage was done. 

However, one of them, MTV News has tendered an apology and said, “An earlier version of this story featured a photo of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and not musician Ravi Shankar.

    The Govt should put a case for giving wrong information without checking properly.
