A German woman has been sleeping with the rotting corpse of her mother for the last five years.
The incident came to light when her neighbours alerted social workers after they grew suspicious when the 55-year-old woman failed to give convincing answers about her mom’s whereabouts.
Social workers were denied entry and they had to call police and firefighters to break into the house, reported moviepilot.com
The body was found in a mummified condition tucked into a bed, which was shared by the daughter.
Upon questioning, the woman said that her mom passed away in 2009.
She was sent to psychiatric care.
