A woman who claims to be a lawyer is keeping police on their toes. Dubbed the 'serial bride, this woman is believed to have wed at least seven men from the South INdian state of Tamil Nadu and is on the run.

Now, two men - a football player and a car showroom salesperson - has filed a complaint. She duped them of Rs3,00,000 (Dh19,871), reported Times of India.

She allegeadly married the salesman in May and also held a grand reception. She told him that she was a practising lawyer at the Madras High Court and wanter to sit for the Civil Services Exam and requested him to admit her to a hostel, which he did. However, after a few weeks the hostel authorities called him up to say she was missing.

At that time, he received a call from another person who claimed that she had duped his brother of money after marrying him.

Meanwhile, a football player Prasanna said he had been in love with her for some years and they got married after she threatened to commit suicide.

Preliminary investigations reveal she has cheated seven men from various places in the state.
