Chelsea have been told by Real Madrid that they can land Arsenal and PSG target Kaka for a cut-price of £22 million, according to reports.

The Brazilian superstar has been heavily linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, with manager Jose Mourinho expected to listen to offers for the midfielder.

Clubs from across Europe have been linked with a move, with Ligue 1 outfit PSG amongst the teams thought to be interested in the former AC Milan star.

Real Madrid are ready to sell the midfielder after Mourinho admitted that he is no longer part of his plans.

Kaka has struggled to make an impact at the La Liga giants since his move to Spain back in the summer of 2009 and a mixture of injury, average form and the signing of Mesut Ozil have left the former AC Milan star spending much of his time at Real Madrid out of the first team picture.

Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for Kaka for quite some time now. The deal could be paid for by Chelsea selling Florent Malouda to Russian club Anzhi in January for £6 million.

Malouda is said to be set to leave the West London club and the likes of Alex, Salomon Kalou and even Fernando Torres may follow the Frenchman out of the club.

Striker Nicolas Anelka has already completed his move to Shanghai Shenhua after he too struggled to find a spot in Andre Villas-Boas’s plans.

The 30-year-old cost Madrid £55 million from AC Milan. But he has never settled through an injury ravaged spell.

Kaka is back in Brazil deciding whether to join Chelsea, high-spending Paris St Germain or move back to Milan.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is the driving force behind bringing him to Stamford Bridge and has been constantly linked to him over the last two years.

The footballer is not happy with the situation, but a source close to Madrid said that he always had an interest in other clubs.

“Kaka has always interested other clubs and Mourinho has decided that he has far better options in midfield so the best thing to do is to move him on,” a leading daily quoted the source as saying.

“There has been no concrete offer but it is now known that the club would accept an offer in the region of 22 million pounds,” the source added.
