Italian giants AC Milan are eyeing a loan deal for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba in January.
The Ivory Coast international appears to have fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge behind Fernando Torres and Daniel Sturridge.
With Antonio Cassano ruled out for the season after heart surgery, the reigning Serie A champion have been keeping taps on the 33-year-old's situation.
Drogba, who is out of contract at Chelsea at the end of the season, could be secured on an initial loan deal.
The Ivory Coast striker will play in the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea in January.
He has played over 300 games for Chelsea, scoring 145 goals.
