Serie A giants Juventus are planning a shock swoop on Arsenal winger Theo Walcott in a move that could involve Chelsea in a transfer triangle.

Juventus manager Antonio Conte has prepared a plan to bring the England international to Italy in the summer, according to reports.

Conte has meet with Juve’s sporting director Beppe Marotta and is ready to discuss the possibility of selling Milos Krasic to Chelsea to generate the funds to buy Walcott.

Corriere dello Sport reported that the Italians have already contacted Walcott’s agent and have been told that it will all depend on how the Gunners season will develop and whether Juventus qualifies or not for next season’s Champions League.

However, Walcott’s agent Colin Gordon has denied speculation and said there has been no contact with Juventus.

He said: “Juventus have never called us. We have not received calls from Italy recently.”

But asked if the winger will stay at the Emirates, he added: “We’ll see. I don’t know what will happen.”

Having seen Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and Cesc Fabregas leave in the summer, Arsene Wenger will resist attempts to lure one of prized young talents.

But a lot will depend on whether the North London club have at the very least secured a top four finish.

Thomas Vermaelen has put pen to paper on a new deal but the likes of Robin Van Persie, Andrei Arshavin and Walcott still appear to be unsure of their Gunners future.
