Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has dismissed rumours of a move to Arsenal, insisting that he wants to stay with the Spanish giants next season.
The Brazil international has endured a difficult time since making the switch to Real from AC Milan, failing to find his best form during the 2009/10 campaign and suffering with injury for most of the subsequent season.
He has been continually linked with a move to Manchester City or Chelsea but, after Cesc Fabregas left Arsenal for Barcelona last week, there were suggestions Arsene Wenger could ask Kaka to fill the void.
However, the playmaker wants to stay and fight for his place at Real Madrid under the guidance of Bernabeu boss Jose Mourinho, according to reports.
“My plan is to remain with Real Madrid and to obtain the confidence of the coach,” Kaka told Marca.
Kaka, 29, is contracted to Real until the summer of 2015.
