Fresh off the corruption and indulgence offered by the Indian Premier League’s T20 tourney it seems unlikely that a major cricket tournament can go on without some spicy off-field incidents.

As players got down to business on the pitch putting money aside and focusing representing their nations in the first major international cricket tournament this year – the Champions Trophy in England, in the stands the fans got busy.

South Africa's clash against Pakistan on Monday saw spectators brawling in the stands at Edgbaston.

Organisers are worried that things could spill over at Edgbaston again on Saturday for the greatest grudge match of all India versus Pakistan.

The Aussies are saying goodbye faster to their domination of world cricket than David Warner can order a pint.

Or so the joke goes.

According to media reports Warned has reportedly been dropped from Australia's squad to play New Zealand in the Champions Trophy on Wednesday and is under investigation for an incident which allegedly involved alcohol.

Warner has already faced disciplinary action and been fined by Cricket Australia for breaching their  code of conduct following a Twitter brawl with journalists.

The Gentleman’s Game lives on.
