IPL 7 T20 RCB vs SRH: AB de Villiers fires in thrilling win

A whirlwind unbeaten half century from AB de Villiers (89) steered Royal Challengers Bangalore to a thrilling four-wicket win with one ball to spare in Match 24 of IPL 7 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.

SRH put into bat made 155-6  with David Warner making a top score of 61 off 49 balls with four boundaries and three sixes.

Dhawan contributed a breezy 37 off 36 balls with four boundaries.

Chasing 156, Gayle smashed three sixes and two boundaries in his 19-ball cameo of 27 to give RCB the ideal start.

But their innings failed to gather momentum and slumped to 95-6 in the 15th over.

Karn Sharma put the brakes claiming three for 17 while Kumar bowled excellently at the death to finish withtwo for 16.

This was before AB de Villiers collared the Hyderabad bowlers, including Steyn who went for 24 in the 19th over.

The South African clobbered eight sixes and six boundaries in his spectacular 41-ball unbeaten 89 to steer Bangalore to victory.
