Mario Balotelli has driven Roberto Mancini and Manchester City round the bend this season – now copping the blame for costing them the title.

However, what’s worse is he could still drive them crazy – by doing the unthinkable and moving to Manchester United.

Mad Mario was quoted in The Sun today as saying he needs and probably is going to see a shrink.

But, in certain footballing quarters, the whispers are getting louder that what he really needs is a stint under Sir Alex Ferguson.

And Manchester United could do with some stick to take to City.

As the title race winds down to the April 30 showdown between the two clubs at the Etihad, for the first time in 20 years, Manchester United go in as the under-dog.

Even former United captain Roy Keane in his column for The Sun on Sunday said that what United lack is a fear factor.

Teams do not fear them anymore and Manchester City certainly do not after the 6-1 thrashing they handed to United at Old Trafford.

Carlos Tevez has times his return to the team, and to form, perfectly to be ready for April 30.

Perhaps United need to do a Tevez and grab Mad Mario for next season.

Former United player Bryan Robson was today quoted in the Daily Mail as saying that if anyone could manage to bring out the player in Balotelli, it was probably Sir Alex.

Well, Jose Mourinho tried. Roberto Mancini tried. Is it Sir Alex’s turn?
