Cavani rejects moves from Italy to Manchester City

Napoli preparing Premier League double swoop as Italian side trail Skrtel and Meireles, according to the Daily Mail.

Napoli are eyeing Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel after banking £24 million from Ezequiel Lavezzi's move to Paris Saint-Germain, it said.

Chelsea's Raul Meireles, 29, is another target for the Italians.

Meanwhile, Edinson Cavani has ruled out a move to Manchester City, claiming his future is with Napoli, according to the Mirror.

Roberto Mancini has been a long-term admirer of Cavani and the Uruguayan striker scored three times against City in the Champions League last season.

However Cavani says he is happy to remain in Naples.

"There is no doubt about my future - it is in Naples," he said. "My future is to stay in Naples, where I'm very well. What happens next will be seen."
