Man Utd for Moutinho to hit Spurs

Manchester United can hit Tottenham Hotspur where it hurts – or more appropriately, where Spurs hit them – in midfield.

Spurs overran the United midfield, with warhorses Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs showing their age.

Now a key Spurs target Joao Moutinho has said he is unlikely to move to White Hart Line.

The Portugal midfielder was strongly fancied by Spurs and United could now make him a key target to solve their midfield woes.

Moutinho was quoted by The Mirror as saying: “I’ve made the decision to stay with Porto.

"We believe in the value and quality we have here. I’m happy and what I want most is to win against PSG.”
