Premier Motors to power Al Jazira Club

Al Jazira Club has renewed its agreement with Premier Motors, official dealer for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, confirming the company as its official automotive partner for three seasons until 2016-17.

The sponsorship originally commenced in 2011.

As part of the agreement, Premier Motors will provide Al Jazira Club with a fleet of 15 vehicles, including the flagship Jaguar XJ, the Jaguar XF and the Land Rover LR2, for its use.

Helal Omar, General Manager, Premier Motors said: “Al Jazira Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in the UAE and we look forward to continuing our association with the club.”

Speaking about the agreement, Ammar Bashir, Chief Executive Officer of Al Jazira Club said: “We are proud to renew the partnership with Premier Motors for the next three seasons. It is obvious that Premier Motors and Al Jazira Club share the same ambition and pursuit of continuous development and we thank Premier Motors for choosing Al Jazira, the Pride of Abu Dhabi, to be our official automotive partner.”

Bruce Robertson, Managing Director for Jaguar Land Rover MENA, said: “Our rich sporting heritage is something we are very proud of on both a global and regional level and Jaguar Land Rover continues to partner with organisations that share our brand’s core values.”
 
As part of the sponsorship, Premier Motors receives branding and naming rights at the West Stand of the club’s magnificent Mohammad Bin Zayed stadium, which will now be known as the Land Rover stand.

The clubs’ multi-purpose indoor sports venue is known as the Premier Motors Arena. It has a viewing capacity of up to 25,000 spectators and includes two multi-purpose sports courts, state-of-the-art training rooms, gymnasium, VIP facilities and retail stores.
