UAE to participate in Olympic meet in Bahrain

Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, and President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), will lead the UAE delegation to the 27th meeting of the Presidents of National Olympic Committees of member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), scheduled next Sunday in Manama, Bahrain.

While there, the delegation will also witness the inauguration of Bahrain Olympic Committee's (BOC) strategy and slogan for the next four years.

The UAE's participation is upon an invitation from Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee.

The UAE will also take part in the 77th meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Presidents of GCC Olympic Committees, which will be hosted also by Bahrain.
