Child used by family to rob shop

A Saudi family of four went into an electrical appliances shop in the Gulf Kingdom and pretended to be bargaining with the Asian owner. Seconds later, their little son crept expertly under the table, reached the drawer and began emptying its cash contents.

Wearing a traditional white Saudi dishdasha, the boy tucked the large amount of notes under his gown as his parents and elder sister continued to detract the attention of the owner at the shop in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah.

A YouTube film, published by Al Saudeh Arabic language daily, showed the boy, aged below 10 years, was not satisfied by the first loot as if he had family instructions to steal as much as he could. So he fearlessly tucked his hand into the drawer again and pulled even a larger quantity of notes, which he again hid them under his gown.

Appearing as a confident thief, the boy then professionally crawled back to his parents and secretly gave them a signal that the operation had been done successfully before they started to leave without buying anything.
