Greyhound racing was a popular sport for decades but its star has faded as other betting events take hold and claims of animal mistreatment tarnish its image. In Florida, breeders are fighting to keep the races afoot.

    There's a reason it's illegal in all but seven states. Thank goodness for organizations such as Grey2k and people like Kathy and Ken Pelton.
