Video: Arab deputy sniffs heroin in parliament

A deputy was filmed as he was smelling heroin during a parliament session in an unspecified Arab country, a Kuwaiti newspaper reported on Thursday.

Alanba published a 14-second U-Tube film showing the unidentified deputy pulling a little box out of his pocket and putting a small amount of powder on the back of his hand before sniffing it. He was briefly interrupted  by another deputy sat nearby but it was not clear what he was telling him.

Alanba said the act has caused indignation and surprise among viewers but added it was not clear in which Arab country the film was taken. It carried the report under the title “a deputy in an Arab parliament sniffs heroin publicly.”
