Who should pay for your Emirates ID?

Since Emirates ID became mandatory, residents of the UAE have been debating and arguing at home and at gatherings as to who should pay for the card.

Emirates 24|7 decided to poll a few of the country's residents and ask them their opnion - should the company pay as it does for the visa or should the individual pas as he or she does for their driving licence.

Some surprising answers were received.
