Man narrowly escapes glass board on head

A Saudi man narrowly escaped the collapse of a huge glass board on his head as he walked past a building in the Gulf kingdom.

A YouTube film published on social media showed the man has just stepped out of the building and walked past it when the massive glass sheet fell on him.

The impact knocked the man down but he quickly stood up, felt his head and put his Ghutra back on his head before walking away as nothing has happened.

‘Ajel’ newspaper, which published the film, said the man appeared to be in a shock as he walked away. Before disappearing behind the building, two workers emerged out of the building and called him back for medical checkup.

The paper said the building is located in the capital Riyadh and the incident took place on August 18.

It quoted one viewer as saying :”God the Almighty saved this man’s life…I just can’t believe he emerged out of that accident alive.”
