At a special ceremony in Mumbai, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan unveiled the new trophy with a gold base.

She also received one of those trophies and the actress gushed that it was the first time that she had received the black lady, as the trophy is popularly known as, without being nominated for any film. It is also the first time that she does not figure in the nominations list as she is currently on a sabbatical.

After almost 17 years in the glamour and film industry, the actress took a break from her busy schedule to give birth to her daughter Aaradhya, who turned one on November 16, 2012.

Aishwarya had received her first Filmfare award for her role of a Gujarati girl in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. The 39-year-old said that receiving that first award felt akin to holding an Oscar.
