A bottled water truck overturned on the Dubai-Al Ain highway near the ‘113km to Al Ain’ mark, just before Exit 9 to Nad Al Sheba, at around 3pm on Sunday.
The police are at the scene and are supervising towing away of the overturned truck.
The truck is lying across the first two lanes of the three-lane highway and is blocking traffic towards Al Ain, Silicon Oasis and Dubailand.
Cars are backed up till Al Kudra. It is expected that the road will be cleared in half an hour.
