Thousands of UAE jobs up for grabs at online job fair next week

Starting next week, jobseekers in the UAE will get a chance to meet employers across different sectors in the country, right from the comfort of your home.

Jobs portal Bayt.com is organising an online job fair that will run from March 24 to March 28, 2013, open to all registered jobseekers. Once logged in, candidates will be able to apply for jobs at any time, at their own convenience and from the privacy and comfort of their own home, claims the online portal, adding that registration is free of charge.

However, candidates will not be able to login before that but they can use the same login/password created from March 24 - 28, 2013 to go inside the virtual job fair, chat/video chat with employers and apply to hundreds of relevant jobs.

Jobs can be applied for at any time, but times will be restricted to chat with employers. It is advised that candidates check the timings with the employer once the online fair is open as each may have a different time availability, the portal advises.

Another vital thing that applicants need to remember is that one CV will not fit the style of all the companies. To apply to a job, one needs to visit company booths and apply to jobs over there as per the company application procedure.

Jobseekers and employers will be able to use online facilities such as chat rooms, webcasts and webinars, giving them the option to assess the appropriateness of the match. Jobseekers can search for available jobs and submit their CVs, while employers can interact with jobseekers through virtual booths, as per Bayt.
