Flydubai, Air Arabia launch flash sales

Its clear skies for eager travellers planning to take off in the next few days, as three Mideast carriers announced flash sales, offering up to 25 per cent off on select destinations.

UAE carriers flydubai, Air Arabia, along with the Doha-based Qatar Airways are all offering up killer deals to popular destinations such as Delhi, Mumbai, Alexandria, Manchester, Rome and more.

Budget airline flydubai was the latest to announce a 48-hour sale on eight select routes, which ends on midday, March 21.

With a 20 per cent discount on lowest return fares from Dubai, travellers can select popular destinations such as Alexandria for as low as Dh808, Karachi for Dh535, while Hyderabad is for Dh966.

The return fare is inclusive of all taxes and is subject to availability, with travel dates being March 26 to April 30, 2013.

The Sharjah-based Air Arabia is also offering special fares to popular Indian routes, New Delhi and Mumbai, with one-way fares on outbound travel as low as Dh420.

An Air Arabia rep further explained: “The sale is valid for travel up until March 26 on outbound routes to Delhi and Mumbai, subject to availability.”

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways’ three-day sale ends tonight for UAE residents, with savings up to 25 per cent on economy and business class fares, for travel until May 31.

Passengers from, both, Dubai and Abu Dhabi can fly to European destinations such as Manchester for Dh2,590 and Zurich for just Dh2020 from Dubai; meanwhile, travellers from the capital can fly to Rome for as low as Dh2,190, while Paris is Dh2,720.

The blackout dates are from March 21 until April 6.
