Two killed, many injured in accidents in two days

Two people died and over two dozens were injured in traffic accidents during the past two days, Dubai Police said.

Major General Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Director General Department of Traffic in Dubai, said that the first incident occurred on Friday morning involving three vehicles, which resulted in the death of two people in Al Mamzar area.

He said the driver who caused the accident when he suddenly turned the vehicle to the left, colliding with the vehicle in the lane and pushing it the opposite side of the road. A vehicle coming from the other side hit the vehicle which resulted in the death of two people.

In another accident, five buses had an accident on Saturday morning on Oman Street which resulted in injury of 23 people.
