Lieutenant Colonel Jamal Al Ameri, Chief of Public Relations Section at the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate, said that the deceased’s vehicle caught fire.
“The traffic patrols managed to return traffic flow to normal,” said Lieutenant Colonel Al Ameri.
Lieutenant Colonel Al Ameri urged motorists to abide by traffic regulations, anticipate potential surprises on the road, exercise caution, reduce speed when approaching areas where traffic is diverted due to road work and construction, and leave enough space between vehicles. “Investigations are still underway to determine the circumstances of the accident,” concluded Al Ameri.
