Saudi 'Casanova' lashed, to have 'moral' lessons

A Saudi man who was caught harassing girls in a market place now surely wishes he had never thought of acting as Casanova.

The judge trying the 24-year-old man on charges of harassing three sisters ordered him lashed in the middle of the day and in the middle of the market place where he was caught by the Gulf Kingdom’s feared religious police.

But the verdict by the court in the central town of Afif did not stop at that. “The judge ordered the man to undergo a mandatory training course on morals and good behavior at an authorized centre for at least one week,” Kabar newspaper said.
