Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya in Dubai to snap up Dh36m deal?

Even as Abhishek Bachchan walked the ramp for a kid’s fashion show on Saturday evening in India’s capital New Delhi, daughter Aaradhya and wife Aiswharya Rai were not in attendance to root for their real-life hero.
 
Reason? The Bollywood actor’s two leading ladies are reportedly in Dubai to sign the deal on a sprawling new mansion for dear Aaradhya’s legacy.
 
In an interview post designer Ritu Beri’s annual charitable kids fashion show, the Junior Bachchan was quoted as saying: “Currently [Aaradhya] is in Dubai and very small, but I am sure she will be happy to lend her support to such causes when she grows up.”
 
When Emriates 24|7 contacted Aishwarya’s publicist, a statement was still being awaited at time of filing.
 
Interestingly, when quizzed about a parent’s responsibility towards their child’s upbringing, Bachchan said: “As a parent it is not about material goods. The gifts a parent can give the children are love, care, education and understanding. These are the most important gifts any parent can give…”
 
Err, so the new house is an extension of love, we guess. 
 
Fact or fiction?
 
While Bachchan did not go into details of why his wife and child were in Dubai, Indian media reported over the weekend that it was in fact to snap up a new property worth Dh36 million for Aaradhya.
 
However, sources are also suggesting it could possibly be a follow up on the property the famous celebrity couple already own in Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Sanctuary Falls, which is also worth approximately the same.
 
The exclusive community features five and six bedroom villas, ranging from 5,600 to 10,600 sq ft.
 
Meanwhile, this is not the first time news of lavish gifts being showered on Aaradhya have been floated in the media, only to be proven incorrect later.
 
In November, Indian media frenzy reported the Bachchan family had gifted the young mite a new Mini Cooper for her first birthday.
 
However, in January of this year, grandfather and superstar Amitabh Bachchan cleared that misconception up on his Facebook account.
 
He wrote: “Misconception: Abhishek presented a car to Aaradhya on her first birthday. Wrong. No car was presented; instead a car was purchased by them to gift me on my birthday – a Mini Cooper, which I love, and which has a number plate 2882.”
 
Bachchan senior turned 70 in October last year, amidst huge celebrations that saw the who’s who of Bollywood attending.
