Bollywood was shocked after the news of actress Manisha Koirala being diagnosed with cancer came out. Few days later the actress was seen leaving India and flying down to the US for her treatment.
The 42 year old actress has been putting up a brave face fighting the deadly disease. She has now come out and spoken about her health; thanking fans for their love and prayers.
"Dear friends thank you for all your wishes..I m in good place n in good hands..with all your love n prayers I m sure I ll recover..it was shocking to know but then life is full of surprises..one must deal with it n move on with faith n dignity..what ever is th out come its for best..I know that..so pl don't worry..I have had a beautiful life so far n I know,what ever will happen will all be good..thank you from bottom of my heart for your prayers..love m koirala."
She continues: "Dear friends I m writing this as a request..pl no sadness,I hv told my closest friends n fam too..this is part of life..I m fine n will be fine no matter th out come..I m in gratitude with all the gifts I hv received from this life..like your love n prayers..lets celebrate life in all forms..thank you again for ur prayers...love m".
Manisha some days back fell unconscious in her new home in Nepal. She came down to Mumbai and was admitted in Jaslok Hospital (Mumbai), where the ovarian cancer was detected.
While her family members doesn't want to speak about the sensitive issue giving the seriousness of it, some sources at the hospital rubbished the cancer speculations and stated that Manisha's check-up is still incomplete and she is undergoing treatment.
Manisha Koirala, who is known for her impressive performance in 'Bombay', '1947-A Love Story' and 'Dil Se', has been going through a rough patch after a failed marriage with Nepal based businessman Samrat Dahal.
Even her film career hit a road block, but she was last seen in Ram Gopal Verma's latest 'Bhoot 2'.
Manisha reported to have been taking special classes in well-being to start a fresh life.
