Arsenal’s goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny's produced a £25m Champions League save.

Goals by Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott saw Arsene Wenger's men home in their crucial play-off second leg.

But Wojciech Szczesny's superb second-half penalty save from Antonio Di Natale was the real key to a 14th successive group stage jackpot.

The question now is if Arsene Wenger and Arsenal can build on this momentum.

Next in line stands Manchester United at Old Trafford. The toughest fixture on this year’s list for Arsenal. While there was much relief at the Emirates today with inder-fire boss Wenger saying: "There is relief and pride. I would like to say our club is in a very strong position overall. For 14 years on the trot we have played in the Champions League group stage,”; the prospect of an on-fire United can be daunting to say the least.

A loss to United could very well end the Gunners Premier League title hopes, just three games into the season.

Wenger has been flayed of late following the loss of Cesc Fabregas and now Samir Nasri and his continued failure to bring in new stars.
