The Dubai Criminal Court heard an interesting case, wherein the suspect wanted in a number of criminal cases sought permission to drive the police car.

Sergeant Ali Abdullah testified in court that on receiving reliable tip-off that the jobless Syrian, AMK, 29, was seen at a night club of a hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, cops immediately set off to arrest him on October 6 at about midnight 1am.
“However, on reaching the place, when we presented our ID and asked for his in order to verify his credentials, he said that he does not have an ID card and that his wallet was in the car parked outside,” the official testified.
“Once outside, he asked to ride the police car by presenting a driving licence issued by Abu Dhabi Police and carried OMK’s name.”
Once they reached the police station, he confessed that he had shown his brother’s driving licence in order to evade arrest.
Now apart from other charges, he is also accused of using original documents of another person.
He allegedly was found guilty and was ordered to be deported.
