Pippa Middleton put up for 'hire' at Dh500,000

An American business is claiming it can hire out Pippa Middleton for Dh531,226 a time.

Celebrity Talent Promotions says Pippa - the sister of Britain's Duchess Catherine - is available for "corporate appearances, speaking engagements, endorsements and autograph signings" and has posted a picture of the 28-year-old beauty on its website.

The caption below the image claims: "We are a celebrity booking agency that also hires Pippa Middleton... as a keynote presenter for speaking engagements, trade shows, conventions and store grand openings."

It adds that, for a price, she can be booked for "event hosting, licensing deals, product endorsements, print advertising and television commercials".

However, the truth is that Pippa is not connected to the Florida-based firm and cannot be hired out by them.

When Daily Star Sunday newspaper called up the firm with a request to book Pippa, they were told it would cost Dh365,955 to Dh548,933.

Worker Adam Plotkin added: "You have to understand that she is connected to royalty so there are security issues here. The final figure might even be higher.

"We're talking about two or three first-class round-trip airline tickets from London, plus five-star hotel accommodation while she's here. If you email me all the details about your event we will forward them to her."

An official spokesman for Pippa - sister-in-law of future king Prince William - promised an immediate investigation, adding: "This company does not represent my client and has no authority to make these claims about her on thier website. We will be contacting them about this issue."
