Desert rangers in Saudi Arabia have found a stone worth more than SR6 million (Dh5.8 million), as it bears a human face, shaped on man’s liver and carries a detailed map of the Arabian Peninsula.
Sheikh Ahmed Al Hawashi, a well-known Muslim scholar in the Gulf Kingdom, will give details of the stone during an hour-long programme on the Saudi Al Sahra (desert) TV channel.
“This is a very strange stone which is worth more than SR6 million,” he told local newspapers ahead of Wednesday’s programme.
“The stone reflects the greatness of God the Almighty. It carries a detailed map of the Arabian Peninsula, embodies human liver and kidney, bears a human face and has signs of many other maps.”
