Woman jumps red signals to avenge husband’s new wife

A Saudi woman who was maddened by her husband decision to marry again thought of an innovative way to take revenge with the help of their son.

As women are banned from driving in conservative Saudi Arabia, the wife put her son behind the steering wheel of her husband’s car and asked him to jump red signals and go as fast as he could past police speed cameras.

Her act of revenge appeared to have paid off, with such a brief trip resulting in traffic offences of more than SR100,000 against her husband “The woman retaliated while her husband was on a honeymoon trip with his new wife,” Almarsad daily said without mentioning where in Saudi Arabia she revenged.
 

Falcon sold for SR56,000 in Saudi

 

A Saudi man earned SR56,000 (Dh55,000) from the sale of a falcon he captured while on a hunting trip in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported.

Rizqallah Al Gahdali used a massive net to catch the falcon after unleashing a pigeon tied to a rope to lure in the bird of prey in a rugged area in the western town of Laith.

“Gahdali went to the falcon camp bazaar and sold it for SR56,000 to a Saudi falconer,” Sabq Arabic language daily said. 

“The punisher” kills seven wild dogs for sheep loss

A Saudi man who left his farm to buy fodder for his sheep got the shock of his life when he went into the barn and found only remains of his 20 sheep.

Infuriated, the farmer in a village near the western town of Taif decided to take revenge after he was told a herd of wild dogs attacked the farm in his absence.

“The farmer hid behind a tree and waited most of the night for the dogs to return to the farm to look for food. He was determined to avenge his loss, which exceeded SR25,000 (Dh24,500), the Saudi Arabic language daily Sabq said.

“Seven dogs later came to the farm and started sniffing for food. He used his machine gun to kill them all.”
