Dubai Etihad Rail station opens September 30: Location, route and what passengers need to know
The Jumeirah Golf Estates station will connect Dubai to Abu Dhabi, Al Dhaid and Fujairah, as Etihad Rail expands its passenger network across the UAE
Dubai: Etihad Rail is about to expand its network, with two key stations due to open this month – one in Dubai and the other in Fujairah.
The two stations, which are due to open on September 30, will further boost inter-emirate connectivity for passengers on the rail network.

Where is the Dubai station located?
The station is located in Jumeirah Golf Estates, near the existing Dubai Metro station, making it easier for passengers to connect within Dubai. The Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro station falls on the Metro Red Line.
When will the station open?
The station is scheduled to open on September 30, 2026.
How to plan your trip
With the stations in Mohamed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi and along Al Hilal Street in Fujairah already operational, once the two stations in Dubai and Al Dhaid become operational, this will be the route you can take, in both directions:
Mohammed Bin Zayed City Station, Abu Dhabi - JLT station, Dubai - Al Dhaid Station, Fujairah - Al Hilal Station, Fujairah.
Each passenger train can accommodate up to 400 passengers, with Etihad Rail's fleet comprising 13 trains.
