Sharjah gun-fight: Man shot found on highway

Police in Sharjah’s eastern region have arrested five people following a quarrel, which ended with one man being shot at.

The police operations room received information that a wounded man was lying on the highway in the Hittin area of Khor Fakkan.

When police patrols and ambulance reached the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound on his leg. He was taken to a hospital in Khor Fakkan.

All the people involved in the incident were arrested later.

Investigations are ongoing to find out the circumstances of the incident and the source of the firearm used in the fight.
