6-year-old kidnapped on way to party, molested: Mom testifies

A mother who let her 6-year-old daughter go to a party at a neighbour’s house, unattended, ended up with a nightmarish experience.

A man is accused of kidnapping the girl while she was on her way to the party and molesting her.

In her testimony to the Dubai Courts, according to a report in Al Khaleej, the mother, an Asian, identified as DA, said she told her daughter to go to their neighbour’s house for the party as she was busy.

When the mother followed five minutes later, she found her daughter was not at the party.

She raised an alarm, informed her husband and they finally found the girl outside the door of their own home.

The girl testified that a man kidnapped her and took her to the terrace of the building where he molested her.

The parents filed a police complaint and the alleged attacker was arrested.

During interrogation, he confessed.

According to the report, the Public Prosecution in Dubai has filed with the Criminal Court charges of indecently assaulting a child under duress, demanding a 15-year jail sentence and then deportation.
